Organisation
The
Invaders Mass Band grew out of the Invaders Sound system
also known as Soca on the Move Sound system. We decided
to take on the challenge of forming a Mas band in order
to take on a diverse audience that compiles of the young
and the mature alike. The aim of Invaders Mass Band, is
to introduce and involve many people from diverse backgrounds
in the unique format that is Nottinghill Carnival. We live
up to our motto that is, "we have unity in our diversity".

Members
Our Mas camp works as a social community and welfare centre
and serves needs over and above it's artistic and creative
function. For 2006 and beyond, the Invaders committee intends
to focus its efforts to give high priority to recruiting
and involving more people and widening the span of the community
involvement. We also hope to develop the opportunities we
have for workshops and extra-curricular activities with
children.
