Machel : Higher than high
Machel has to be one of the greatest soca artists to step foot on this earth. The guy is a genius when it comes to producing music. The first time I heard this song I was jumping around the room. I don't know if this tune is a road march song or a groovy song, all I know is that I love it. Pull your rag, pull your flag, pull a guy or pull a friend. This tune is absolutely fantastic.

Destra: I dare you
Destra, once again is looking to mash up the place and burn down any girls self respect. That’s what you lose when you dance to this catching little tune. You have to dance nasty to this one. Or am I thinking about myself again? Destra certainly has another hit on her hands. Love this tune. Pure easy wining when you hear this tune. I can see some men getting assaulted to this one. Woman in charge? For real !Dj, puuuuuuuuullllllll up!

Shurwayne Winchester: Alequa
No doubt Shurwayne fans will love this one. For me, I still have to give it a few rounds on the CD player. Another slow song, more easy wining. Kind of reminds me of something that Kevin Lyttle would do.

Surface ft Tony Prescot: Beware.
This is a carnival tune to get all the flags out. I thought it was a Bajan tune when I heard the opening bars. Typical fast paced soca tune. Love it. Love the lyrics to.

Kerwin Du Bois and Denise Belfon: De rose and de stem
Hmmmmmmmmm. Now what can I say about this tune apart from comparing it to Ghetto flex and Denise Belfons tune wine and bend over? It’s different. Catchy. It’s ok. Kind of reminds me of soca meets hip hop. Too beautiful voices, that I can say.

Ms Alysha and H20 Phlo: Go down low and wine
Every now and again you hear a tune and no matter where you are you have to shake your tail feather. This is that tune. Another tune to grab a flag and wave. This tune starts of innocently then launches an attack on your waistline. Love this one. Will have the crowd singing and wining. If I saw someone's leg on the speaker box at carnival I would not be surprised.

Nadia Batson and Mista Vybe: Start d race
This song reminds me of when you do carnival and there is always one drunk git getting in the way. I imagine them to do it to this tune. This tune is fast and manic don’t start the winery if you can’t follow the tune through to the end. This is none stop heat in the place music. Fantastic tune for the road. Great combination of artists on this track.

Fireball: What I want
Wow. This guy can hit a high note. Sounds like someone set fire to his… anyway. Another song that sounds like something Kevin Lyttle would produce. Nice enough song. Has that r’n’b undertone to it. Hope this artist goes far. Great tune.

Lil' Rick: Wukkup now
This song starts of like hyper dawg God bless the Bajans. They always manage to make you feel unfit. If this is a tune that will be constantly played at carnival I'm hitting the gym NOW. Man, this tune is fast but it has a really great beat to it. If you don't have a rag or a flag to wave to this one, good, because your going to need every bit of energy you have to see this one through and if the dj's pulls this one up, God help us all.

Jamesy P and Skarpyon: leave me alone
Now the song says leave me alone but you just have to pull someone for a dance to this one. Even that guy who has been bugging you all night must get a rub to this. An absolutley beautiful song. A slow melody and a steady base line. Love it.

Ras Simple: Want a wuck
This song reminds of some of them old time tunes. It's ok but no one can sing them old tunes like Sparrow. Want a wuck? Don't we all babes?

Timmy: Fling your waist
Remember when I said that you need to hit the gym because Bajans make you feel unfit? Well, here is another Bajan tune to mash you up. Love the tune. But, i'm thinking about when I'm much older and I want to go to revival soca. Hope they have the ambulance on stand by. Go Timmy go. WICKED TUNE. Another fast paced tune to get you gyrating all over the dance floor. You'll need your rag alright even if it's just to wipe the sweat off your forehead.
